KELSEY MERRITT

​Kelsey Alaine Merritt, born on October 1, 1996, in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines, is a Filipino-American model renowned for her groundbreaking achievements in the fashion industry. She holds the distinction of being the first Filipino woman to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and to appear in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. 

Early Life and Education

Raised in Pampanga, Merritt is the daughter of a Filipina mother and an American father of French, German, British, and Irish descent. She began modeling locally at the age of 15, balancing her burgeoning career with her education. In 2017, she graduated from Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in communications. ​

Merritt's modeling career commenced in Manila, where she worked with brands like Palmolive and San Miguel Light. Her international breakthrough came in 2018 when she became the first Filipino-American to walk in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
